Get more from your training - train without the pain

A movement review with an osteopath looks at how your body actually moves during exercise, finds what's driving discomfort or holding you back, and gives you practical changes to train more comfortably.

What is a movement review?

A movement review is an osteopathic assessment designed for active people. Rather than only treating an injury once it appears, we look at how you move during yoga, Pilates, gym sessions or running. We identify the postural and movement patterns that are causing discomfort or holding back your progress, then give you tailored adjustments, exercises and technique guidance so you can train more effectively and with less strain.

It’s suitable whether you’re recovering from a niggle, want to move more freely, or simply feel you’re not getting as much from your training as you should.

Whatever your training

Whether you're a regular at the studio, the gym or out on the road, we'll help you move better.

Yoga

We will help you find stability without straining joints or overloading the lower back.

Pilates

We can help you build strength and stability without unnecessary tension in the neck, shoulders or hips.

Gym & weights

We review your movement mechanics through key lifts and exercises, helping you train with better form and reduce the wear-and-tear that leads to injury.

Running

We assess your gait and the movement patterns behind recurring niggles, so you can run more comfortably and keep training consistently.

Could this help you?

A movement review is worth considering if you recognise any of these:
  • Back, knee or shoulder pain during or after workouts
  • A pose or lift that never feels right
  • A recurring niggle that keeps coming back
  • Feeling like you’ve plateaued or hold tension

You don’t need to be in significant pain to benefit. Many people come to us simply because they want to move well and protect the training they enjoy.
