Ella Martin BSc Hons Ost Med

As a child Ella watched her younger brother play a lot of amateur football. As you can imagine all sorts of injuries would occur; She listened to young footballers complain a lot about the pain they were in and how it’s was preventing them from continuing with the activities they enjoyed. The team’s therapist would give them a range of different exercise’s each week but never gave them any form of manual treatment. Ella decided from this moment onward she wanted to help people in pain.
Since training as an Osteopath at Surrey institute of osteopathic medicine Ella has treated lots of cases. Osteopathy not only covers the hands on approach but also enables patients to be aware of their posture, overall health and lifestyle and allows continual development at home with exercise. Ella has broadened her horizons greatly and now treats people of all ages; ranging from infants to the elderly.
Ella is still highly involved with the sports working with bodybuilders and golfers especially. Ella is very passionate about the gym and frequently works out and attends Pilates classes.

As well as sports injuries, Ella treats a wide range of conditions including back pain, sciatica and scoliosis. She is available at our Maidenhead osteopathic clinic.
